A press conference was held on 16th April, 2019 at VIP hall of National Press Club demanding specific taxation on tobacco product as well as fix the cigarette price from four to two tier. Bureau of Economic research (BER), University of Dhaka; Bangladesh Cancer Society and Bangladesh Anti-Tobacco Alliance (BATA) jointly organized the program.
