The ASTRA Stakeholder Workshop was held on 4th August, 2018, from 10:00am-1:30pm, at the ARK Foundation. ASTRA is funded by the UK’s National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and involves a partnership between six UK Universities and five institutions in South Asia including the ARK Foundation, Bangladesh. It also incorporates input from stakeholders such as Cancer Research UK, The Union, WHO Geneva, SEARO and The National Cancer Institute, USA (NIH). ASTRA is coordinated by the University of York, UK. The aim of the programme is to reduce tobacco-related harm in South Asian countries.
