BNTTP arranged a workshop on Tobacco Taxation

BNTTP arranged a workshop on tax campaign for tobacco taxation on 14 March, 2021. BI grantee members attended the workshop. BER leading the campaign. This campaign will begain on 10 April 2021 and will be end on 30 june 2021.
Ibrahim Khalil, project officer of BER is coordinating the campaign. These are the things that will be done as part of the campaign: Campaign with MPs, human chain, webinar, media sensitization, press conference, social media campaign, DO collection on specific tax and tax proposal, tax proposal campaign by partner organizations, knowledge dissemination by newsletter, one to one meeting with law makers, tax policy proposal submission to NBR, tax proposal send to 350 MP and other govt. stakeholders & journalists, roundtable meeting on tax TII and specific tax and raise in the parliament.
